Gout and Pseudogout Explained

With more than 100 different types of arthritis, gout is consistently rated as one of the most painful types of arthritis. Gout and Pseudogout are two arthritic diseases, which share very similar symptoms, but have different causes. While people of any age can develop gout, it is more common among the elderly and often caused by a diet that is high in foods that contain purines.
