Those who are elderly, especially seniors who are over 65, have an increased risk of mobility related disorders like arthritis developing. However, there are also a number of other diseases that can also have an impact on the ease at which a senior gets around, such as Alzheimer’s. Reduced mobility can have a major impact on elderly patients, making many aspects of life very difficult. Understanding these sorts of diseases is one of the first and most important steps to treatment.
